Rotary Winetasting Fundraiser

Our Wine Tasting Fundraiser was held Saturday, April 18. We had 15 people total in attendance including our District Governor, Hanspeter Tobler. Our club members that attended were George Linial, Ernie and Shirley Dean, Ben Carssow and his wife Nancy, Kevin Clement and his wife Maurine, Tracey Ippolite, Karen Sirgo, Frank Ivy and 4 guests. Former Club member, Zahir Walji, lead us through the tasting of 5 wines: Tricky Chardonnay and Viognier Blend, Tricky Pinot Noir and Syra Blend, Filon Granache, Tricky Cabernet and Syra Blend, and a Dante Red Zinfandel. All of these wines would go well with hamburger, brisket, steak, and other beef dishes. Appetizers of pizza and chips and salsa were provided to everyone.
