On November 29, our speaker was Reza Saleh, cousin of Rotarian Aziz Saleh, who spoke to us about Islam. He emphasized Islam's common roots with Christianity and Judaism, with all three religions containing some of the same stories in the Koran, the Torah, and the Old Testament of the Bible. We are all brothers and sisters together. Being a Muslim means a total submission to God. The Koran is from God to man as a gift to all people. It is part history and part help for dealing with troubles. Thanks to Aziz for helping bring us this informative and interesting talk.
