October 26 Speakers

At last week's (October 26) meeting members were treated to an entertaining and informative presentation from a Danish group, who came to us via Austin Community College's Global Learning Institute. Brian Bilich is the Program Coordinator of the Institute. The group is in Austin for about two weeks and they spoke to us about their time here as well as their hometowns of Alborg, Tietgen and Aarhus. They also talked about Danish humor, myths, government and everyday life. They are in Austin to visit various businesses, go to cultural events and to practice their English.
