New Rotary Project - Austin Scholar Athlete Program
On August 3, Member Kevin Clement provided us with information about the proposed Austin scholar athlete program the board approved at its July meeting. The same program was implemented with great success at his Rotary club in Rhode Island and it had positive impact on attendance. The proposal is to implement the program at three schools and offer a scholarship to one qualified student at each school by a drawing.
