Mike Coy
Our speaker on August 3 was Mike Coy of AFLAC. He is a 18 month cancer survivor and told us his story. He asked the question - Who packs your parachute? In other words, who has your back. He also pointed out that stress is a silent killer in that it lowers your immune system and can allow cancer to take hold. So don't sweat the small stuff! And get checked by your doctor! It can save your life. He told us everyone should make a choice - Get busy living or get busy dying - which is a quote from Shawkshank Redemption.
