May 2nd Speaker - Kyle Schulz

Kyle Schulz is the Director of Economic for the Austin Chamber of Commerce. Kyle's role is to work with out-of-market manufacturing, distribution, and industrial firms looking to establish a presence in Austin. Prior to joining the Austin Chamber Kyle was the Director of Economic Development for the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce. Kyle oversaw the local Business Retention and Expansion, workforce development, and entrepreneur innovation program. During his tenure Kyle improved business outreach efforts by 150% and was principle lead on the award winning local crowd funding portal. Kyle is an Illinois native who got to Texas by thinking Austin was part of the Houston area. Kyle and his wife, JJ, live in Austin with their dog, Bran. Kyle will be speaking to the club about recruiting new companies to Austin, growing and retaining existing companies, and adding to the workforce.
