President Rich Hill spoke to us about his hobby of photography. He said it is not simply a matter of snapping a picture with your phone. To begin with he told the history of photography and how a primitive version was used to view a solar eclipse in the 4th century. This was called camera obscura; where a dark room with small hole would reflect the outside world into the interior, although it would be upside down. A camera uses the same concept - capturing light to reflect an image. Rich showed his photographs, and the different ways photography is used including the modern meme. He also described the basics of photography and showed examples of using different ISO, shutter speed, aperture, and lens sizes. He also showed examples of editing photos. President Rich has a gift for taking beautiful photos!
