Our speaker on June 6th will be Elizabeth McGrath. She is currently the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (OPNAV N1), Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) Manager responsible for Fleet introduction of Sea Warrior systems and for the Sea Warrior systems Fleet assessment program. Sea Warrior systems support Navy organizations, Fleet units and Sailors who engage manpower, personnel, training and education (MPTE) technical programs and applications in human performance activities. FIT is composed of government civilians and uniformed military personnel stationed in the San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA Fleet concentration areas. She graduated St. Edward’s University in 1983 with a BA in English. In 1985, she joined the Navy from her home town of Austin, Texas and served for twenty-two years in a spectrum of sea and shore commands, on a variety of Joint and Navy staffs, and across the seven seas.
