Our speaker will be Jim Comer, who is a presentation writer & coach, speaker, author, and communication consultant. He helps business professionals become more confident, persuasive presenters. Jim has more than 25 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies and has coached and written for CEOs, as well as candidates for Governor of Texas and Lt. Governor of California. What sets Jim apart is his ability to create content and delivery that helps people reflect their  individual style and incorporate their own stories. He works to help speakers bring out the best of themselves – the person that their friends and colleagues know and enjoy. As a keynote speaker, Jim has spoken to audiences in 26 states, Canada and Mexico with keynotes including “You Are the Message” and “How to Survive Caregiving with Sanity and a Sense of Humor.”His book, When Roles Reverse: A Guide to Parenting Your Parents, was nominated by the Texas Writers’ League as Best Non-Fiction Book of 2007. His articles have appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and Reader’s Digest. He edited his father’s best-selling memoir, Combat Crew, and has ghostwritten three books including Austin icon Jane Sibley’s autobiography, Jane’s Window published by Texas A&M Press. In his days as a struggling actor in New York, Jim appeared on six quiz shows, including the $10,000 Pyramid and Jeopardy.
