Judge Janice Law will speak to us about her just-released sixth book, nonfiction AMERICAN EVITA:LURLEEN WALLACE, a biography of America’s third woman governor.  Judge Law has been successful in many careers: print journalist, federal and state prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, criminal court judge, author, and museum founder. Although she still sits occasionally in Texas as a visiting judge, she has returned to her journalistic roots.  An author of six books, one of which was a finalist for the 2007 Texas Book Award, she has appeared on C-Span 2 BOOKTV and has been a featured author at many prestigious national book festivals. She took a three year break from writing to found D.C. based American Women Writers National Museum.
