On July 29th, Eric Taylor of Veteran Remodeling was our Zoom speaker. He is a former Marine and disabled veteran who has been working on residential and commercial remodeling projects since 2016. One of the services his company provides is health and safety remodeling to disabled and low-income and sometimes elderly veterans. They work with Veteran’s Administration and other agencies such as iACT to provide these remodeling services. The VA has two main programs for disabled veterans that provide grants for health and safety remodeling such as ramps, doors, and bathrooms. Unfortunately, veterans do not always know about these programs. Eric and his company need help finding veterans who qualify for these programs and getting them to accept help.
