On September 4, Past-President Aziz Saleh gave a presentation about Iran. He showed us two videos which highlighted the geography, demographics, food, animals, religion, and politics of Iran. The second video also discussed family values, dress etiquette, business and meeting etiquette, gift giving, work week, and holidays. Some of the highlights -- the population of Iran is 62% Persian and 70% are under 30 years old. Iran is well protected by natural boundaries and is at the cross-roads between different cultures. There was follow up with discussion by Aziz and questions from the club members. Aziz will be back on October to tell us more about his native country.
