Rotary International President, Ian H. S. Riseley, challenged every Rotarian to plant a tree 🌲 during this Rotary Year. On Saturday, 10th February, 8 Rotarians from the Cosmopolitan Club that organized the event, 4 from NXNE, 3 from Centennial, 3 from NW Austin, and 16 UT Rotaractors in conjunction with Keep Austin Beautiful and a Keep Walnut Creek Park Beautiful Meetup Group planted trees. They spent approximately 3 hours planting trees, and NxNE Rotarians Ben, Tracey and Frank planted at least 40 trees combined.
