Rotarian Ben Carssow told us about his 45-day trip to Alaska. It started at a family reunion in Branson, MO, and then he trekked north through the continental U.S. along the western continental divide into Canada and then to Alaska. He had traveled to Alaska years ago and wanted to make a return trip to see places he had not already seen. On this trip, he visited 10 national parks and made it to Prudoe Bay, one of his goals. His trip included 13,000 miles of driving, all by him. He averaged 400 miles a day. Ben showed us pictures from his trip and told us several stories, including one where he was able to see a bunch of bears up close and personal! We are hoping for a return engagement so that we can see the rest of his pictures including the bears! Sounds like it was a trip of a lifetime!!
