Steven Wilkinson will speak to us about Bitcoins.

Steven Wilkinson is a seventh-generation Texan that believes Austin and Texas has the potential to be the global hub for Bitcoin and blockchain related technologies. Growing up on the family ranch, Steven has always been drawn to electronics, machinery and open systems. He has been a technology consultant for over 20 years and discovered cryptocurrencies in early 2011 when he began mining. Since then, he has been working on a few different projects which provide services in this emerging ecosystem and help with community outreach. In 2013, Steven founded the Bitcoin consulting firm, Austin Bitcoin, which is the BitPay merchant integration partner of Texas. He is also one of the co-founders and Vice President of the Texas Bitcoin Association and the annual Texas Bitcoin Conference.
