We have two speakers on November 2 --
Grace Chimene is a member of the League of Women Voters of Texas Board of Directors and serves at the Legislative Director. A pediatric nurse practitioner by profession, she has concentrated her personal League advocacy efforts in the health field. She coordinated the State League's general legislative affairs as well. Grace is a University of Texas graduate and a longtime Austin resident.
Cinde Weatherby is VP-Community Relations on the Austin League Board and coordinates the Capitol Corps for LWV-TX advocacy before the Legislature. She also serves as the State League's Voting and Elections Issue Chair. Cinde recently retired from a career in the transportation field at public and private entities, primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She has degrees from Texas Tech and UT-Arlington and has been an Austin resident since 2009.
