"My Rotary Story" Contest

ELIGIBILITY: The My Rotary Story (“Contest”) is open to all Rotarians within District 5870 Rotary Clubs. Must be a current member of a Rotary Club within District 5870. To enter, Rotarians must submit their “My Rotary Story” through either a picture(s) of the Rotarian with an essay or a short 2 minutes or less Video

SPONSOR: Rotary District of Central Texas ~ 5870 (“Sponsor”)

AGREEMENT: Participation in this Contest and/or submitting an Entry constitutes Entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein and the decision of the judges. All submissions will become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

CONTEST PERIOD: Contest begins July 1, 2015 at 12:00am Central Standard Time (“CST”) and ends April 30, 2016 at 12:00pm CST. Sponsor is the official timekeeper for the Contest Period.   Submissions received prior to or after Contest period are void. 

HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, all submissions must be submitted via email to   rotarydistrict5870@gmail.com during the Contest period.    (All video submissions must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and a link must be provided in   addition to the contestants contact information.)

PRIZES: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Submissions received.  “Top Secret Prizes” will be awarded for the following categories: Best Overall Rotary Story  Most Moving Rotary Story  Most Creative Rotary Story  The winners of these categories will be recognized and their submissions will be presented at the District Conference of Clubs at Horseshoe Bay June 23-26th, 2016.
