Our speaker on June 8th was Sean Lanier, Founder of Resolve Solutions, an Alexandria VA based non profit that is veteran owned and operated. Resolve Solutions is 8 years old, with a staff of 4 part time employees and many volunteer coaches, mentors, and counselors. They help youth with career and educational choices, and Sean told us stories about some of the people they have helped. He explained how they help youth become leaders through mentoring and guiding them to obtain skills that will help with their future. They are focused on students on ROTC scholarships, and their program helps with retention rates. He also talked about how they are funded through grants and donations.
