Our monthly donations will go to help Uvalde families through the District 5840 Foundation.
We raised $900 for our club in May.
Frank read thank you notes - one from SAFE and one from Rotary Club of Mayfield in Kentucky for donation for tornado relief to help victims.
Frank is going to International Convention and will do presentation in June when he returns.
Ben provided some info about our scholarship recipients and how the Bartz funds are used to provide scholarships. There were seven applications from Navarro HS, and the scholarship committee chose six of those to receive scholarships. Ben read the thank you note from recipient of Ernie and Shirley Dean scholarship.
Dan Birnbaum talked about reading the article about RYLA in the Rotary magazine, and how he would like to find a way to get the RYLA students involved in Rotary - get into Rotaract and Interact. Tink says the RYLA students are very enthused about Rotary. Tink also said our RYLA program is unique in its length and being run by past campers.
Dan Birnbaum is our membership chair and wants to really work on membership. He also talked about getting members from Rotaract and working on some membership programs by showcasing what we do as a club.
