Our speaker for July 27 is Scott Baldauf, who will tell us about his travels around Saudi Arabia. Scott Baldauf got his degree in history and political science from the Principia College in Elsah, Illinois. He and his family live in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where he works in the Communications Department of Saudi Aramco. Saudi Aramco is the most valuable oil company in the world. Prior to joining Aramco, Scott worked for 25 years as a correspondent and bureau chief for the Christian Science Monitor. During his career with the Monitor, he was posted in Austin, New Delhi, India and Johannesburg, South Africa. While in South Asia, he was a war correspondent in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq." Scott as part of his work has traveled around Saudi Arabia and has taken his family on several trips around the country. He will be speaking and giving a visual presentation about these trips.
