On a return engagement Rotarian Ben Carssow showed a video of his trip to Alaska. After a family reunion, he traveled to Colorado and then north into Canada, where he stopped at Lake Louise and drove through the mountains of British Columbia. Once he reached Alaska, he traveled north to the Arctic Circle and Prudhoe Bay. He made stops at Denali National Park, Seward and Homer, took a boat ride to see whales, sea lions and glaciers, and a plane ride to see coastal grizzly bears - they spotted over 40 bears!! On his return to the US, he traveled south through Yellowstone NP, the Grand Tetons, and Rocky Mountain NP. Besides bears, he saw lots of elk and caribou. What a wonderful trip for Ben!
