Our member, James Lette, had been in the hospital for two weeks due to a low heart rate. He has been at home for a week now but is in Hospice care. James recently achieved PHF + 3 and since he has been unable attend our Rotary meetings in person, Treasurer and Rotary Foundation committee chair Frank Ivy went to James' home on Friday, December 19th, to present him with his new pin. To Frank's surprise, James answered the door wearing a dress shirt, tie, and slacks. James has been wearing a pacemaker for the past 2 years, but his heart rate is low, and he gets tired easily. Frank visited with James for about an hour and a half and presented him with his PHF + 3. James' wife took the picture of the pin presentation. In addition, his daughter and granddaughter came by, and Frank got to meet them and visit with them too. His granddaughter is a Sophomore at Anderson High School, where Frank was a graduate of the Class of 1980. Please keep James in your thoughts and prayers and thank Frank for his "Service above Self" in presenting James with his new Paul Harris pin!
