Housing Update by Geoffrey Tahuahua
Our speaker on May 23 was VP of Public Policy for the Homebuilders Association for Greater Austin, Geoffrey Tahuahua, who provided us with an update on the Austin housing market. Mr. Tahuahua focused on the tremendous demand for more housing in the Austin area and how this lack of supply is driving up prices. He also discussed how the overwhelming bureaucracy in Austin for a big part of the housing problem in the area.
