Elisha Morgan spoke to us about his experiences as a gem appraiser.  Before he began his career with gems, he was a Navy seal.   After leaving the Navy, Elisha attended Gemological Institute of America, working in colored stone laboratory, where he identified various stones. Elisha started New England Gem Laboratory in 1989, taking business by referral.    He is an expert on 92 species of gem related materials, from inexpensive to the most valuable and has bought jewels in all parts of the world. He travels and identifies and evaluates stones.   Elisha loves his work, as  no two days are the same.   He is a Master Gemologist Appraiser  - there are only a small number of them in the world.  Elisha answered questions from the group and told stories of some of his experiences.
